Maintenance methods and precautions for use of water chiller

How should the chiller be maintained daily? What are the precautions for use? Without further ado, let's take a look!

One, daily maintenance:

(1) Check regularly whether the cooling water system of the chiller is normal, whether the fans and sprinklers of the cooling tower are in good operation, and whether the water refill of the built-in water tank of the chiller is normal. Periodically check whether the refrigerant of the chiller leaks, and determine by referring to the parameters displayed on the high and low pressure meter on the front panel of the host.

(2) When the chiller has a fault alarm and stops, it should press the alarm and stop button first, and then check the cause of the fault. Remember not to start up and run before the fault is removed.

(3) If there is no emergency in the use of the chiller, do not shut down the unit by cutting off the power at will; If the unit is not used for a long time in winter, it is necessary to shut down the unit first, then turn off the main power supply, and drain the water in the chiller.

(4) When using the chiller, keep the machine room clean and well-ventilated, and clean the condenser regularly to ensure the normal operation of the unit.

Two, the use of notes:

(1) Repeated opening and closing of the chiller should be avoided as far as possible.

(2) When the temperature of the chiller reaches the set temperature, the compressor will stop running automatically, which is a normal phenomenon.

(3) The temperature switch should avoid setting below 5 degrees Celsius to prevent the evaporator from freezing (except for low-temperature freezers).

(4) In order to ensure the refrigeration effect and maintain the best state, please clean the condenser, evaporator and water filter regularly.

(5) The frozen water pump cannot operate without water in the water tank (for models above 7.5HP, water level protection is installed in the water tank. When the water level is too low or there is no water in the water tank, the water pump will automatically stop running and display the water level fault code and alarm number).
